Peering out of the window,
Nose pressed up against the glass.
Tears are falling from the sky,
But it's still bright blue I wonder why.

What a morning. Got home a few hours before, at 5.30am after a 5 hour Karaoke marathon. It was probably bad timing afterall to have gone yesterday, with us having scheduled something in today, leaving us bleary-eyed for the rest of the day. Even now, my head is still in lag-mode after 4 hours of sleep. They call it Age, I'm sure.
But we all need to do a little crazy something every now and then.
When life deals you a difficult hand, it's so good to know that Someone's in charge of your life and is taking over the wheel for you. If the keys were handed over to me, I think my life would be a wreck by now. Everyone thinks they can get on with life by themselves, but the question is "How strong are we really?" If I can be at the steering wheel 365/24/7, then I'll drive through the Journey of Life by myself. But I know I'm weak, and I need sleep. So it's always good to know that I'm being chauffeured around, or at least have Someone to hand over the steering wheel too in times of exhaustion.
Been thinking alot about everything. Why the emptiness after a day's of activity, why the hollow in my eyes when I'm with company, why the ache for something more when I have everything. Relationships are such brittle brittle things. You wrap them up in bubble wrap, so that you'll find them in perfect condition, just the way they were, at the end of the day. But when it takes a harsh fall, the wrap may not prove to be enough after all. All you can do is pray that the cracks aren't proportionate to the distance from the ground when it was dropped.
Off to watch Harry Potter!
