Yes, I'm the kind who watches soccer only during World Cup.
... When I should be studying.
Japan vs Netherlands today. 0-1. Both teams' defences were really strong. There was this big fuss over Honda before the match but I feel that he didn't really show much during today's match. Tulio was really impressive though :D Honda's cute but still, if only he showed more of what he could do. The Argentina vs South Korea match was pretty exciting too. But Argentina was too strong la. 4-0 O.O
My lecturer is a really big soccer fan. Last Friday, he was like "Oh no.. what should we do about next Friday?" We were all like huh?? It's not as if there's a holiday or something so why should there be any problem? The lecture hall was quiet. Heh, bet everyone was as puzzled as me. And then he went on asking this question for a few times before he said "The match is at 3.30am!" And we were all like OHHHHH. HAHAHAHA. "If I watch the 3.30am match, I won't be able to sleep much and I have first period..." (Lecturer).
Wahahaha. My lecturer is so cute lah.
I bet my brother is not getting much sleep during this World Cup period either. What with his ridiculous shifts and his fanatic love for soccer.
Believe it or not, I can finally see the craze about soccer. The play on the field is really fun to watch. There are so many techniques involved. It's not only about kicking a ball, it's the skills behind kicking that ball. It's like hockey. If only I can apply what I see on that soccer field to hockey. But seeing the players make mistakes, a shiver unconsciously runs down my spine. I still remember so vividly how much I got scolded by C. -shudders. I still suffer from the trauma now and then.
But speaking of which, the weather is so Singapore-like now it's unbearable. Especially in the day. Now's the rainy season so the humidity level is uber high and it all gets stuck in the air like a invisible cloak of stickys that's waiting to envelope you. I get drenched in sweat literally when I ride from my dorm to the station every single day. Means I have to do my laundry more often now noooooooooo. And today's hockey prac was so tiring cos of the heat and sun. Thank God I'm going back for the summer! When I'm back it'll be autumn wheeee :D :D
Anyway, this was my dinner yesterday! Strifried seafood with egg. The seafood's expiry date was like 2 weeks ago but I still ate it anyway cos I figured nothing frozen actually goes too spoiled. And I was right, thank God.

I can't wait to bake lahhhh. Keep reading about Limin baking cookies and all makes my mouth water. After exams. Exams exams go awayyyyy. So stressed. I still have a bunch of things to study for and exams are only about a month away. CRAZY. Only God can deliver me through this disaster=crisis man.

Lookie! My hair's long enough to french braid already! :D It's not a perfect braid but at least now I know how to tie a decent one. But gotta wait for my hair to grow out more cos it's still really layered. And frizzy. Anyone knows how to solve the problem of frizzy hair???
Okay I need to go. Not even supposed to blog. I just blogged for the sake of blogging cos it's been too long.
And people, I'm okay. Don't worry. Just cos you don't see me online doesn't mean I'm like crying or emo-ing or something. I'm just busy!
Toodles. Have an awesome weekend, all! ♥
PS: What's with the weird comments from weird China-ish sounding users? They leave the randomest comments like "Wow.. your English is incredible" and "Say not all that you know, believe not all that you hear." Like HUH?! Is it some sort of virus? Stop spamming my blog comments, you random people.
