Slumdog.

This is a must-watch! It didn't win 8 Oscars for no reason, you know. It gives you insights into India, the people, the way society works. Of course some of the scenes might have been over-exaggerated but the gist is there.

It broke my heart when the men whom the children called "saints" exploited the children and even blinded them to earn more money, because "blind singers earn double, y'know." What a whole load of rubbish. Then why don't you go blind yourself and earn yourself the doubles you deserve? I just hate it so much when people exploit others (especially innocent, vulnerable people) to get what they want. Earn your own keeps, I say!

If the world has given you the impression that it's just part of how the world works, through the television, media, whatnot, the world has lied to you. This was not the world God intended it to be. Man just took liberties. I can't understand how people can brainwash themselves into thinking what they're doing is right when their conscience clearly tells them otherwise. Please, just get a heart. You people make me sick.

Things like this make me mad, please pardon me.

Anyways, the week is coming to an end soon! Time really does fly, doesn't it? I have a million things to do but all I feel like doing is laze around and watch tv! Haha. What's left now on my list is a gazillion things like:

Applying for visa
Buying necessities for Japan
PACKING AND LOTS OF PACKING (I haven't even started, oh gosh)
Learn how to cook (or I'll have to live on cupnoodles or be broke for the rest of my life in Japan)
Spend lots and lots of time with Family & Eric & Friends! (God knows how much I'm going to miss all of you)

But meanwhile, let me return to being a couch potato because I'm not going to have the chance to do this for the next 5 years!

Have a lovely and blessed weekend, ya'll! (:
