The last I popped by this space was last year *eyes widen*. That feels really surreal. We are already in year 2012! Happy New Year, Happy Lunar New Year!
There is no CNY mood this year at all. Because there are no goodies to look forward to, no family reunions, no angbaos and no heat! These are the things I associate CNY with :P but at least I managed to have a reunion dinner with some friends at a Taiwanese restaurant. Did you know Yusheng was a Singaporean invention?? I didn't know that! I always thought it was a CNY thing... need to get out of my well once in awhile, I know D: But I bet not alot of people know that too.
So where have I been? Well, mostly in Japan. Got to sneak away for a week or so to Korea over the Christmas/New Year season. But that meant I had to work doubly hard for my finals because I played too much during the winter break (which is what I should be doing now). But, *points to title*, I am in no mood to do work at all. 3 papers down & 2 more to go! After that, I'll be moving to my new house (more like a room), then to Taiwan and then back to Singapore! Can't wait to be reunited with family and heat lol.

I apologize for this really boring post. I think I've lost my ability to write over the span of 3 years that I've been in Japan for ): I had an assignment which was to write a sequel to a science-fiction movie and when I look at my end product, I can't help but cringe. It's corny, doesn't have a climax and has all other elements that would put a director to shame. It's really really tough writing original screenplays/films. And my English has gone right out the window.
