I saw my dream car today! It's really tiny and really awesome (just like me right LOL. kidding :P). Too bad I didn't have the chance to take picture of it, I was too busy squinting at the logo and trying to make out the brand of it. I totally didn't recognise the brand though. So I was looking online aaaand I've decided my dream car is a Mini Cooper.
Isn't she gorgeous? But sadly (for me), I know in my heart she won't look good in green ):
Here's another beauty. I just love looking at her.
It looks like a waterbottle when you sling it! Apparently, she's the world's smallest and lightest camera. I really don't see how O.O The lens obviously weighs alot.. unless it's like a super duper light lens... which is impossible. But what I love about her is the lens! I think it looks so pro-looking and pretty! I obviously don't NEED another camera. Ever since the invention of the iPhone, I've been neglecting my Panasonic for greener pastures ): ...Well, not really. I think the camera still takes equally good pictures but it's just so much more convenient to bring one device out with a million functions and is no burden to the shoulders.
What's with my techy post, I have no idea. Actually it's not even considered techy, because I'm only looking at the appearances of these devices and not their functions. Lol I'm one of those girls who don't understand a thing about technology, so don't try to explain to me those techy jargons. You're just wasting your breath and time, I'm afraid. I'm so glad my brother makes up for what I lack :P
Went for my course briefing today and I think I might be quite free again this semester D: Note to self: do NOT spam modules to kill yourself. And my course only has 11 people! I met one today, and another one's from Singapore, so I already know two out of 11! Okay, minus me, I already know 2 out of 10. I just hope the rest of my coursemates are nice people. It's sad if I have to spend the next two years escaping from my coursemates in fear of awkwardness D: Met 2 profs today too and they seem nice enough. One's really chatty and funny, another one's quite jumpy and nervous-looking lol. Research room seems cosy enough. They even served us tea and cookies yknow! I like.
Before i flew back to Japan, I was watching cooking shows on a daily basis. My favourite channel is Food Network Asia atm. So i saw this recipe for Frittata and I decided to make it a few days back. Frittata is like an Italian cheesy omelette with all sorts of stuff in it (it's like okonomiyaki, whatever you like). The one I tried cooking was thyme with mushroom and pasta. I never knew Japan's supermarkets sold thyme! But it was obviously expensive. Plus stupid me just chopped up everything, leaves and stems and threw it in. I really don't think I was supposed to throw the stems in.. Got abit traumatic swallowing the stems. Just to cook that dish, I overspent on groceries by about 15dollars, after conversion D: Turned out kinda too dry cos I cut down on the eggs. The recipe actually called for 6 eggs! Like, who eats 6 eggs in a sitting??? But in the end I still had to use about 4, and it was split into two meals to cut down the guilt.
In times like these, especially after watching FNA you just wish you were staying in the US or UK. Their supermarkets are like so awesome for shopping. I was so envious when I visited Sainsbury in London last Spring. The amount of stuff they have in there is incredible. And the variety of BREAD. I was looking for sourdough bread today but I couldn't find it. I should totally live in some European countries where they eat bread and cheese and milk every day. I could live like that.
An utterly pointless entry.

Amen to that!! (:
