I want to eat Pandan Cake

Finally done with my presentations and speeches for this year. Two more to go next year, hurray. =/

It's turning really chilly.

Hi, winter. How I love you for appealing to my brain to send neutron signals to my stomach more often than before and for increasing my appetite. And thanks for the cold, biting wind that just beckons me to go exercise amidst it all. Gee. My mom reminded me how envious I was last time when I thought of those wintry country, "like 24 hours of aircon." I take back those words. Yes, it's nice when youre all snuggled up in bed, or in a warm room, or if you have a kodatsu or a warm carpet. But when you're outside battling the wind and not being able to feel your face after that, I don't think you'd like it very much. But the weather's getting really erratic. The summers are getting hotter by the year, while the winters are getting colder by the year. England's supposedly having a serious snowfall/snowstorm(?) right now. I hope everyone in England's doing okay! It's no joke to be stuck outside without proper heating.

Speaking of which, winter=snow. Snow=skiing/snowboarding.

The snow slope. The ice condition wasn't great on that day. There wasn't enough snow, and patches of grass were actually peeking out. Didn't manage to take the slope at the higher altitude. Now that's a real slope. But it was super scary. Took like an hour just to get down it. Haha.

With my board. The scenery behind me was cut off by the ahem photographer. I was supposed to showcase the scenery, but without it I look so pointless with my arms widespread.

My favourite shot!!! This was taken from the higher altitude. The scenery was breathtaking, and the cold was bone-chilling.

We were supposed to ski/board for 2 days but being a complete amateur, I fell down so many times that my tailbone and arm were aching so badly. So I decided not to board the next day. I wasn't alone in that decision. So a bunch of us girls went to a place called Jigokudani (Hell's valley) where it's well-known for onsen-soaking monkeys. Good life ah, they!

This is a super classic shot. You can see how much the old monkey is enjoying this!! Hahaha.

I took lots of monkey shots, but won't upload all of them here. If you guys are interested in looking at monkeys, go to my facebook album. They're all there (:

Met On Yee for dinner on Friday. We were gonna challenge ourselves to the supposed Japan's No. 1 spiciest ramen place. In the end, we both didn't eat the spiciest one lah. That would have been suicide for the stomach. On Yee took a level 5 and I tried the level 7. Thank goodness mine was tsukemen (you dip the noodles in the soup), or else I probably wouldn't have finished it. The soup was oily, and I wanted to vomit everything out when I was done with it. But I enjoyed the noodles and the large amount of veggies in it!

See, I don't eat like a bird okay. The portion was really humongous. I'm amazed I actually could force myself to finish it. But they're really generous with the ingredients man!

Whoever loves ramen + spicy food, this is the place for you! I know Eric would love it (:

And then, we decided to cool ourselves down with icecream. The best way to stop your mouth from burning after spicy food is to drink milk! And guess what ice cream contains plenty of?? (Hahaha yesyes, we were just looking for excuses.)

Left: Salty Butter Biscuit. Right: Pumpkin. (Both Hagen Daaz!)

*Pumpkin was really good, although it might sound disgusting!

Oh yes, here are the muffins that Lili and I baked as a trial for the Christmas Party this Friday. They're made from rice flour, instead of normal flour. It tastes kinda different, but the amazing thing is that it actually tasted better overnight! But the chunky chocolate was sooo good :D

Get through school!!
I went to school today, Grace! (:

Goodbye, good night world!
