I miss the smell of LT5.
3206 people, you guys will understand, right?
The smell wafted in and it really brought back some very nostalgic memory of AJC. Outside LT2 where we hung around taking up so much space and making so much noise, canteen where the whole of 3206 would sit together and ramble on about everything under the sun, Econs class with Mdm Woon's resounding "righhttttttt?", Math class where everyone doesn't pay attention in (okay I did la hahaha), PE where we had to run 2 warmup laps plus 6 laps after and the unanimous groans, the people that made every day fun (I don't have to mention names la. You guys are BHB enough to self-admit), the ponning of GP lectures, the lit texts we had to read over and over again, Edward's sarcasm and cynicism, Tan Yi'en's tinkling laughter and the silly things she say, Lydia's hypermaniac-uncontrollable-nottomentionembarassingbutentertaining laughter, Christine's matter-of-factness that puts everyone down complete with The Look, Greg's "It depends on how you define _____", Guan's ability to rant on about things when noone's really paying attention, Cheryn's signature pose when sleeping in Econs lecture, MJ's act-serious-but-not-serious look, Joti the drama queen ever, Jason's dry humour that cracks everyone up without fail, Daphne's ability to switch between being the Normal among the Abnormals and the Abnormal with the Abnormals, Mr Loh's "Okay"s that come packaged with the unconscious head wobble, Saffie's quirky comments and ultimate blurness, Danial's mystifying obsession with "A Walk to Remember" and sensitivity of the opposite gender, etcetera etcetera etcetera.
All we had to worry in those days were if the canteen was crowded, did we have enough time to eat, what we were going to go during PE (6 rounds AGAIN?!), and of course A Levels. But I really had alot of fun during the last stretch when everyone (tried to) mugged (mug) together.
I really miss you guys.

Had the most horrid interview today.
Teacher: How many hours do you study per day?
Me: Errr... 1 hour? (thinks to myself, I don't even study 15mins a day but I obviously can't say that. 15mins-roundup-1 hour)
Teacher: !!! (Laughs) 1 hour? How come? The others study 3-5 hours a day, why do you only study 1 hour a day? Studies are too easy for you so don't have to study?
Me: (omg, 1 hour is already rounded up and it's not a satisfactory answer??)Nono, not easy at all! Umm..
Teacher: Okay, so what do you do the rest of the time?
Me: Use the computer.... (This is not going well. At all)
Teacher: And what do you do?
Me: Err, chat?
Teacher: (Laughs) With your Singaporean friends?
Me: Yes...
Teacher: *writes it down on the paper*
Mortifying. I really hope he doesn't submit that to the school or have to recommend me for uni, or I know I won't make it.
I felt so bad after the interview that I came back and studied for 2 hours. It's a feeble stab at trying to make myself better but from now onwards, I really want to keep to this regime. I have to.
